**The Lady or the Tiger?

He turned, and with a firm and rapid step walked across the empty space. Every heart stopped beating, every breath was held, every eye was fixed immovably upon that man. Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right and opened it wide. In his dismay, out came the fierce looking tiger, who without hesitation himself, pounced on the poor lowly lover and devoured him whole. The whole arena was in shock. The two people most in shock, were the Princess and the Tiger-keeper. The Princess believed the Tiger-keeper had told her the truth that the tiger would be on the left. Yet, in her sadness the perplexed Princess wondered why the Lover had opened the right door, when she had clearly raised her hand and warned him where the tiger dwelt.  The Tiger-keeper was also in shock and wondered why the Princess had not told the Lover that the tiger was in the right door. Both the Lover and the Princess were at fault here, you see. I guess the Lover and the barbaric Princess were never meant to be.
